Dear Friends and Family,
As some of you know, I've been praying about moving to New Orleans for a few years ago. I only recently announced a finalization on my move because I wanted to make completely sure that it is what God has called me to do..and now I know it truly is.
I want to go ahead and say "thank you" to everyone who has listened to me talk on and on about how much I love New Orleans and to everyone who has supported me as I did so.
Most of you probably have many questions about my move. Because of that, in the next few blogs, I'm going to address the most common questions I've been asked when I mention the calling on my life! :):)
1. First question I'm always asked:
"Have you ever been to New Orleans?"
I sure have been! I use to inwardly laugh when people asked me this question because I had no idea people would assume that I wanted to move without ever having been there before. But when I started to look at it from a Biblical perspective, Jesus' disciples moved from place to place without necessarily knowing what they were getting themselves into, where they were going, or what would happen when they got there. However, they knew that they were following Jesus and that's all that mattered.
Thankfully, while I don't know all the plans that God has for me when I get there, I do partially know what I'm getting myself into because, yes, I have been to New Orleans. I've been five times and counting..three of those times I've traveled on my own. :)
